There are many reasons to seek therapy, but it can be challenging to know where to start. By reading this, you’ve already taken the first step, and I hope the information here will help you make a decision about how to start.

There might be a clear reason for you to seek therapy, and what you want to get from it, but maybe it’s hard to put in words how you are feeling. You may feel that talking to someone in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space where you can share, at your own pace will be helpful.

You might be feeling stressed, overwhelmed, disconnected, or lost. Perhaps you still hold on to something that happened long ago and have difficulty letting go. You might feel stuck in a job, or in a role in your relationship that doesn’t suit you anymore, and find it hard to move on. You might find yourself lost in repeating thoughts and behaviours, or feeling unable to find joy, peace or happiness in life.
